World renowned violinist Taras Gabora with Oberlin Conservatory Piano Faculty Sedmara Zakarian-Rutstein and two of the winners of the Yankelevich Violin Competition in Russia - Melody Yuan and Chan Lee

Gabora and Rutstein have collaborated in several performances at the Chagrin Valley Chamber Music Concert Series.  This year, we are in for a treat with Brahms Sonata No. 3 in D minor performed by the distinguished artists as well as several amazing performances of the young virtuosos winners of the Yankelevuch Violin Competition.

Piano Recital - Per Enflo

Veteran of the concert stage, pianist Per Enflo began his career on Sweden as a child protege.  Today he performs on five continents as a concerto soloist, recitalist and chamber musician.

Chamber Music Extravaganza - Cesar Franck: Piano Quintet in F minor

3 pm

Award-winning violinists Hristo Popov and Andrew Sords will begin the program playing virtuoso works for two violins.  Cellist Michael Gelfand - Professor at the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University and pianist Eriko  Izumida - faculty at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory will join forces for the monumental Piano Quintet by Cesar Franck
